why biojoule?

Biojoule’s new containerised drying and pelletising plant is fully transportable and will operate anywhere: sawmill; forest floor; or farmyard.

Moving wood chips is always expensive. The less you move them the easier and cheaper the process becomes. By taking the plant to the wood supply we minimise the cost of transporting expensive to move chips, and replace it with the lower cost of moving high energy density pellets.

Biojoule’s plant can be moved from place to place as harvesting or operations dictate. This means that we can make pellets from wood that cannot economically be used in any other pellet plant.

Automating the plant makes it easy to operate 24 hours per day seven days a week. The unique feed bins also allow fuel suppliers to fill the plant just once a day – freeing up labour and machines for other things.
