The Biojoule plant is equipped with high capacity dryers coupled to a sophisticated control system that ensures that whatever moisture content wood chips are fed into the plant a high quality pellet is produced.
Small amounts of wet sawdust, provided it remains well mixed with wood chip, is also perfectly acceptable.
If the sawdust is relatively dry then the plant will operate on 100% sawdust as a feedstock.
