What do we do?

Biojoule is a biomass development company, operating integrated pellet plants and marketing wood pellets.  We have developed innovative technologies for manufacturing pellets from wood and other biomass residues.  We sell pellets in bulk to wholesalers and in bags direct to the public.

Where do we operate?

Based in Oxford, with production in Central England, we make and distribute our quality wood pellets throughout the United Kingdom.  Supply quotations can be obtained via the Biojoule contact details on this web site, or through local distributors on the links page.

How do we operate?

Biojoule is developing pelleting projects in co-operation with business partners.  In these businesses:

• Biojoule provides the pelleting technology, manages operations incluing day to day operations supervision and maintenance:
• Potential partners include:
  • Sawmills, wholesale wood product merchants and other generators of wood by-products;
  • The owners of biomass, AD or L/F gas power plants which through the addition of the Biojoule pellet plant can efficiently use their waste heat and qualify for CHP allowances;
  • Energy crop growers:
  Partners roles include supply of feedstock, management of logistics.
• Pellet marketting and sales could be done by either party.
